On our trip to Miyako Island with my girlfriend, we took a sunset SUP tour♪ Since we had a leisurely afternoon departure, it wasn’t too physically demanding, and paddling together across the sea as it turned golden was incredibly romantic. We also had great luck snorkeling and got to see a wild sea turtle—my girlfriend was thrilled! The only thing was, the SUP paddle we borrowed felt a little short for me, making it a bit hard to paddle, so if that could be adjusted, it would have been perfect. Still, we got lots of wonderful photos, so it was a truly memorable experience.

Before we set off, I was really nervous about whether I’d be able to paddle the canoe properly, but the guide gave me gentle instructions right by my side, so I got the hang of it right away♪ That said, if the soles of the water shoes I rented had been a little thicker, I would’ve felt even more secure walking on the rocky shore. Still, the ocean was absolutely beautiful!

We were able to try SUP and snorkeling according to the scheduled itinerary. The water clarity was average. There were no particular issues with the equipment. It was a typical half-day tour—neither great nor bad.

I was worried I wouldn’t have enough stamina for a day at the beach after such a long time, but the instructor kept checking in on my pace, so I was able to enjoy myself without getting worn out! The only thing was that the changing tents were a little crowded after we finished—if that had gone more smoothly, it would have been perfect. But the ocean was absolutely beautiful!

I went canoeing and snorkeling with my boyfriend♪ The “Miyako Blue” ocean was so crystal clear, and I was amazed by all the fish I saw! The only thing was, the life jacket we rented was just a little too big for me—if that had fit perfectly, it would have been perfect. But I had a blast anyway!

I made this reservation to commemorate our trip to Miyako Island with my husband. Watching the sunset from our canoe as the sea gradually turned a golden hue was indescribably romantic… I was absolutely thrilled to be able to swim right alongside the sea turtles. You took so many wonderful photos of the two of us together—they’ve become a precious treasure for us as a couple.
