Frequently asked questions about this plan
Q. What is the difference between the two?I am not a good swimmer. Can I join the snorkeling tour even if I can't swim?

Yes, you will be fine! The most difficult part of swimming for those who are not good swimmers is "holding your breath". We will guide you to the ocean after giving you a lecture on breathing exercises and tips on how to swim in shallow water where you can stand on your feet.

In addition, since you wear a life jacket and enter the water slowly, you will feel as if you are floating on the surface of the ocean rather than swimming.

For those who cannot swim at all or are not confident in their physical strength, the tour guide will pull a large floatation ring to guide you to the point, so you can participate in the tour with peace of mind.

Q. What is the difference between the two? What should I wear on the day of the event?

You can wear a bathing suit or, if you are not comfortable in a bathing suit, a dark-colored T-shirt and shorts, or any other clothing that is easy to move around in. In winter, participants are required to wear a wetsuit over their swimsuit. (In the summer, only those who wish to wear a wetsuit will be asked to wear a wetsuit over their swimsuit.)

When you arrive at the meeting place on the day of the tour, please change into a swimsuit or wet clothes under your clothes as much as possible.

For guests who have difficulty changing clothes in advance, such as on the day of arrival or when out of town, please have them ready in an easily accessible place in your luggage.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is there anything I need to prepare and bring on the day of the tour?

Please bring a swimsuit (T-shirt + shorts, etc.), change of clothes (underwear, etc.), bath towel, and sandals. A change of clothes bag is useful.

In addition, sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, and rash guards in summer. In winter, a fleece or hoodie is more comfortable to wear on top.

Rental equipment (masks, snorkels, life jackets, shoes, and fins, etc.) for the tour is provided!

Q. What is the difference between the two?I am 7 months pregnant, can I still participate?

I do not recommend this because you are going offshore by boat and cannot be held responsible if something goes wrong.

Q. What is the difference between the two?How long does it take to get to the Yaebise point from the port of departure by boat?

It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to arrive at the port. If you are worried about seasickness, we recommend that you take an anti-sickness medicine about 30 minutes before the meeting.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Are shower facilities available? Or, do you know of any facilities where we can take a shower or bath between the break-up point and Miyakojima Airport?

There are no shower rooms as the tour will break up at the port. Water and a simple tent for changing clothes will be provided. There are no bathing facilities between the disbanding point and Miyako Airport.

Q. Can I rent a wetsuit?
Free rental is available.
Q. How many snorkel sites are there?
There are three snorkel sites.
We plan to do drone photography at two coral and fish sites and a sandy point called Ifu.
Q. Do I need to bring my own lunch?
Lunch will be served without lunch due to the tendency of passengers to get seasick.

The waters off Yaese were crystal clear, and it was a wonderful experience. I also received the drone footage without any issues. Although the boat’s rocking bothered me a little, I’m generally satisfied.

The facilities were average. The transportation was smooth. The coral at Yaeyama Gama was just as I’d imagined. It was an experience worth the price.

No matter where I looked, emerald-green coral reefs stretched out as far as the eye could see, and I was simply speechless... In the footage taken from above by drone, we looked as if we were being embraced by the vastness of nature... No matter how many times I watch it, it brings tears to my eyes... Thank you so much for this wonderful treasure.

Since I was traveling alone and joining the tour on a whim, I was a little nervous at first and worried I might feel lonely, but the staff on the boat were friendly and chatted with me the whole time, so I had such a great time that I didn’t even have a moment to feel lonely. The beauty of the Yaese coral reef was like something out of another world… Since I was traveling alone, I didn’t have any photos of myself, so I was really happy to receive so many wonderful drone videos and underwater photos!

With emerald-green seas stretching as far as the eye could see and breathtaking coral reefs, it was truly a treasure trove of stunning scenery! The drone footage—which they take for you free of charge—captures an overwhelming sense of scale, and seeing ourselves dotting the center of the Miyako Blue in the shot gave me goosebumps. The underwater photos also beautifully captured the coral and bands of light—I was completely satisfied. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who’s serious about photography and videography.

The Yaeyama Coral Reef, said to be one of the largest in Japan, offered one breathtaking view after another! The footage taken from above with a drone looked just like a scene from a movie—I was totally blown away♪ The underwater photos turned out so beautifully that I can’t help but show them off☆ It’s an absolute must-see spot if you’re visiting Miyako Island, so everyone should definitely go diving there!

The coral reefs at Yaeyama are truly breathtaking in scale, and considering the drone footage is included, this price offers excellent value for money. However, the wind during the morning boat ride was colder than I expected, so it would have been perfect if there had been a brief announcement beforehand advising us to bring a light jacket. Overall, I was very satisfied with the tour itself.

The drone footage was very good, but unfortunately the day was cloudy and the sea was not as clear as we had hoped. It would have been great if the weather had been better.

The coral reefs of the Yaegase were as beautiful as expected. The drone video is a great souvenir as it is from an angle that I could not take by myself. If I may say so, it would have been helpful if the shaded space on the boat was a little wider.

This was my first time in the Yaebise, and I was really impressed by the clarity of the water and the beauty of the coral. Thanks to the captain and guide, even a snorkeling beginner like me was able to enjoy it without any worries! I was amazed at the quality of the underwater photos as well as the aerial video taken by the drone, which was even better than I had imagined. I have watched it over and over again since I got back home. I was also thankful that there was a restroom on the boat.
