Q. What is the difference between the two?Are there any age restrictions for snorkeling?

A. Participants must be between the ages of 6 and 65.
Guests aged 65 or older may participate only if they bring a medical certificate from a doctor attesting to their health condition and our staff determines on the day of the event that they can be safely guided through the experience.

Chartering the boat was the best decision ever. The water around Yaese was seriously gorgeous, and it was awesome to fish and have fun with my friends without worrying about anyone else. The captain was really easygoing, too, so we had a great time.

For our anniversary trip with my wife, we took the plunge and booked a private charter. The overwhelming beauty of the coral reefs at Yaese was beyond words, and the two of us were simply mesmerized. The crew provided attentive assistance with our fishing, and it was wonderful to see the joy on my wife’s face when she caught a fish. We were able to spend our special day in the best possible way.

Since we had the boat all to ourselves, we were able to have a blast without worrying about anyone else! We got to go fishing and snorkeling—I was totally satisfied! The only thing was, there wasn’t quite enough bait for fishing, so it would have been perfect if there had been a little more. Still, I highly recommend it!

I’d say it offers good value for the price. Being able to freely enjoy snorkeling and fishing at Yaese on a private charter boat is a huge draw for group trips. That said, if I had to nitpick, the boat’s rocking bothered me a bit, so people who are prone to seasickness should take motion sickness medication beforehand. I was satisfied with the overall service and the guide’s assistance.

I wasn’t very confident in my physical stamina, so before we left, I was worried the whole time about whether I’d be able to enjoy both snorkeling and fishing. But thanks to the private charter, we were able to take breaks at our own pace, so even as a beginner, I could enjoy myself without any trouble. I was moved by the beautiful waters of Yaese, and I’m so glad I took the plunge and joined the tour. If I had to mention one thing, though, it would have been perfect if there had been something to put on after getting out of the water.

First, we boarded a chartered boat and headed toward Yaese while enjoying the breeze of Miyako Island. Next, we went into the water and, following our guide’s instructions, took our time exploring the beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish. We took a private VIP charter tour on Miyako Island. While snorkeling at Yaese, we were able to take our time observing what is said to be one of Japan’s largest coral reefs and the vibrant fish that call it home. I’m prone to seasickness, so I was worried about spending a long time on a boat, but since it was a private charter, the staff chose a spot with calm waters based on how we were feeling, which allowed us to enjoy ourselves with peace of mind. Yaehigase is so beautiful and fun! Fishing was great, but the boat was a bit bumpy and I got a little drunk, so you may need to take anti-sickness medicine. But the view was really divine!

Nothing but Instagram-worthy spots! I think it offers good value for the price. I really appreciate that we could enjoy everything—from the trip to Yaese to snorkeling and fishing—at our own pace on a private boat. However, if I had to mention one thing, the boat did get quite rocky at times depending on the fishing spot, so if you’re prone to motion sickness, you’ll want to take precautions beforehand. Overall, I’m satisfied with the service and the staff’s attentiveness.

Since you can enjoy snorkeling and fishing at Yaese on a private charter, I’d say it offers good value for the money. Being able to relax on the boat exclusively with your group is a major plus.
